When you use RiyazSync, we collect:

• Account information: your email address and, optionally, a display name.
• Practice data: session durations, timestamps, instruments practiced, metronome settings, journal entries, goals, streaks, and achievements you earn.
• Usage data: basic technical information (such as browser type) needed to operate the Service reliably.

2. Microphone Access

Certain features — the Tuner and Metronome — may request access to your device's microphone to detect pitch or tempo in real time. This audio is processed entirely on your device using your browser's built-in audio APIs. We do not record, store, or transmit microphone audio to our servers at any point. You can deny or revoke microphone access at any time through your browser settings without losing access to other features of the Service.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data described above to:

• Provide and operate the Service, including your dashboard, history, and analytics
• Calculate your streaks, achievements, and challenge progress
• Communicate with you about your account (for example, password resets)
• Improve the Service based on aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure database provider. Access to your data is protected by Row Level Security, meaning only you (and systems acting on your behalf) can read or modify your own records. We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Third-Party Services

We use third-party infrastructure providers (such as Supabase for authentication and database hosting, and Vercel for application hosting) to operate the Service. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

6. Your Rights

You can, at any time:

• View and update your profile information in Settings
• Delete individual practice sessions from your History
• Request deletion of your entire account and associated data by contacting us

7. Children's Privacy

RiyazSync is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above.
